Note taken long ago from Scrum beyond trenches slides by Henrik Kniberg. Just for myself not to forget.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"the-sprint-commitment-misconceptions\">The sprint commitment &#8211; misconceptions<\/h3>\n<p>\u201dWe promise to achieve this goal\u201d<br \/>\n&#8220;We promise to deliver all stories included in the sprint backlog\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll repeat!. These are <strong>misconceptions<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"teams-commitment-to-the-product-owner\">\u00a0Team\u2019s commitment to the product owner<\/h3>\n<p><strong>We promise that:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8230; we believe we can reach the sprint goal.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8230; we will do everything in our power to reach the sprint goal, and will let you know immediately if we no longer believe we can reach it.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8230; we believe that we can complete all stories included in the sprint backlog.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8230; we will demonstrate releasable code at the end of the sprint.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8230; if we fall behind schedule we will talk to you and, if necessary, remove the lowest priority stories first.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8230; if we get ahead of schedule, we will add stories to the sprint from the product backlog, in priority order.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8230; we will display our progress and status on a daily basis.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8230; every story that we do deliver is Done.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hmm, the opposite of misconceptions should be <strong>conceptions<\/strong>, right :D?<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"your-experience\">Your experience<\/h3>\n<p>Would you add any more to these lists?
