Happy with successful completion of the Nowy System Wydawniczy (NSW, New Publishing System) project, implemented by TouK as commissioned by ‘Wiedza i Praktyka’ Publishing House, we recommend TouK as the creator of the highest quality comprehensive IT solutions.
Software designed and implemented by TouK under the project forms the basis of our new central publishing system. The corporate data bus architecture integrates the existing systems with the NSW and facilitates the use of services introduced under the project.
The project carried out by TouK covered the following:
- Description and implementation of key business processes of the Publishing House (using Apache Camel and Apache HISE – WS-Human Tasks);
- Implementation of the corporate Enterprise Service Bus (ESB); ESB was implemented based on Apache ServiceMix 4.0 open source platform;
- Modules of the central Products Catalogue, sales management, promotion management, production management, and business processes support.
It should be highlighted that the NSW is yet another system created by TouK for the Publishing House. Several month long cooperation on the project assured us yet again that we made the right choice of a technology partner. Again, TouK proved its professional approach and flexibility in responding to the needs of WiP. Throughout project implementation, TouK provided us with competent support and currently it supervises the system’s development and maintenance.

It is our pleasure to say that TouK Sp. z o.o. s.k.a. is developing an Operational Data Store class system in the ORACLE technology operating in PTC under the name of SMOK for Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa, Era mobile network operator. The company has been successfully ensuring continuous implementation of new functionalities in the system, its refactoring and technical support for its maintenance for two years.
SMOK has the following functionalities:
- Operational database collecting data from the operator’s billing system and billing-related systems;

'Wiedza i Praktyka' Publishing House – references

With reference to the successful completion of the Episteme project that the TouK company carried out for the Wiedza i Praktyka Editing House I have pleasure to recommend TouK services to any entity that seeks effective IT solutions for its business.
Under the project the company designed and implemented the Operational Data Store class system for our editing house. Episteme operational data store is an information exchange centre which integrates the following WiP applications: billing system, financial and accounting system, business intelligence, CRM system and controlling system.
We would like to highlight the fact that since the beginning of the project we had been able to count on TouK’s competent support and openness for our needs. The atmosphere of our cooperation was very pleasant. But our paths do not diverge. At present, TouK provides system maintenance services.
